To bring this incurably romantic fragrance to life, perfumer Thierry Wasser imagined a pink palette, the result of an exclusive “blend of Bulgarian roses” created for Guerlain. To the magnificence of a fresh and cheerful bouquet of Lilac, Peony, Lily of the Valley accord and Freesia, he adds the sensuality of Chypre notes, sublimated by Patchouli and White Musks. In the perfect harmony of this delicate idyll, the exuberant and sparkling whirlwind of love stands out—the feeling of an unforgettable emotion.
“For Idylle I imagined a bouquet of flowers, fresh, cheerful, a hymn to love, composed of Lily of the Valley, Freesia, Lilac, Peony, Jasmine and a majestic blend of Bulgarian Roses, to which I associated the sensuality of Chypre,” says Thierry Wasser, Maître Parfumeur Guerlain.
Enclosed in the emblematic casket—the famous bottle with an inverted heart created by Raymond Guerlain in 1912—Les Légendaires travel through time to achieve immortality and inspire the future.
