HERMÈS Amazone Eau de Toilette
LA CREAZIONE
A symbol of untamed, modern femininity, Amazone was created in 1974 by perfumer Maurice Maurin. This green floral harmony is inspired by the mythical horsewomen who, according to legend, ruled the shores of the Black Sea.
OLFACTIVE NOTES
Amazone eau de toilette, a floral and green fragrance, energetically balances the powdery notes of blackcurrant buds with the delicate notes of rose and completes them with the milky hints of sandalwood.
OBJECT
The bottle, inspired by vintage car lanterns, is topped with a black cap evoking the domed helmet of knights. The label on the back, an iconic element of the Perfume-Founders collection, is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas.
THE PERFUME-FOUNDERS COLLECTION
The Perfume-Founders collection is inspired by the tradition of the house. Each creation encapsulates the imagination of Hermès in a name, a fragrance, a color. Over the years, Hermès has written the pages of a bold perfumery, born from encounters with extraordinary perfumers.
A symbol of free and modern femininity, Amazone is inspired by the mythical horsewomen who, according to legend, ruled the shores of the Black Sea. A novel composed by Maurice Maurin in 1974 and orchestrated around blackcurrant buds, this fragrance is a green floral harmony in which jonquils, narcissus, galbanum, berries and vetiver respond to each other in tone.
