HERMÈS
Calèche, created by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961 as the first feminine fragrance from Hermès, was reimagined in 1992 as Calèche Soie de Parfum — a composition whose name evokes the house’s iconic carriage and the art of silk.
OLFACTIVE NOTES
Calèche Soie de Parfum weaves refined aldehydes with the lush floral notes of jasmine and generous rose.
THE BOTTLE
Inspired by vintage car lanterns, the flacon is topped with a black cap reminiscent of a knight’s domed helmet. The label on the back — a hallmark of the Profumi-Fondatori collection — features an illustration by Philippe Dumas.
THE PROFUMI-FONDATORI COLLECTION
Rooted in the house’s heritage, each creation captures the essence of Hermès through a name, a fragrance, and a color. Over the years, Hermès has written bold chapters in perfumery, born of collaborations with extraordinary perfumers.
Created by Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche is the first feminine perfume from the Maison. A floral, woody, chypre fragrance of great femininity, its name recalls the emblematic Hermès carriage. Calèche shines with the beauty of its raw materials: from the cheerfulness of citrus to the modernity of aldehydes; from a floral heart enriched with ylang-ylang, rose, and jasmine, to a woody chypre trail sublimated by the nobility of iris.
