THE CREATION

With Un Jardin sous la Mer Eau de Toilette, Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, answers the call of the sea and invites you to discover an unexpected garden. An escape to Polynesia, on the island of Tahaa. A pristine place where mountains and coral reefs, plants and corals converse in perfect harmony.

OLFACTIVE NOTES

Floral and musky, Un Jardin sous la Mer Eau de Toilette combines the sunny tiare flower with the enveloping character of tamanu nut and mineral notes that evoke the coral reef.

THE OBJECT

Designed by Fred Rawyler, the iconic Hermès bottle draws inspiration from the lines of vintage car lanterns, and its blue gradient reflects the azure sky and crystal-clear waters of the Tahaa lagoon. On the packaging, watercolor illustrations by artist Aino-Maija Metsola depict the coral reef, effervescent with life and color.

THE HERMÈS DETAIL

For each fragrance in the Parfums-Jardins collection, the Maison invites an artist to poetically illustrate the packaging, giving them free rein to express the garden through drawing.

ETHICS

The Un Jardin sous la Mer Eau de Toilette bottles in 100 ml, 50 ml, and 30 ml can be refilled using the 200 ml refill, sold separately.
