HERMÈS
THE CREATION
Created in 2005 by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, the Eau de Toilette Un Jardin sur le Nil evokes an olfactory journey to the islands on the Nile River near Aswan, Egypt. A composition that tells the story of this river, synonymous with life and generosity.
THE OLFACTIVE NOTES
Green and woody, Un Jardin sur le Nil combines the tart notes of green mango with the delicacy of lotus and the elegance of sycamore.
THE OBJECT
The bottle, created by Fred Rawyler, is inspired by the shape of vintage car headlights. Evoking the banks of the Nile, the glass takes on a delicate green shade. On the case, a lotus blossoms from the brush of artist Aurore de la Morinerie.
ETHICS
The bottle is refillable thanks to the 200 ml eau de toilette refill. A responsible gesture, inseparable from an object designed to last.
THE PARFUMS-JARDINS COLLECTION
An encounter between the soul of a place, the perfumer’s inspiration, and the annual theme chosen by Maison Hermès, the Parfums-Jardins fragrance collection is an olfactory stroll to be shared, satisfying desires for freshness, dreaming, and escape.
