HERMÈS
HERMÈS Terre d'Hermès
THE CREATION
In 2006, perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena created Terre d'Hermès, an eau de toilette that reconnects man with his creative power. The composition tells the story of man's bond with the earth, his dialogue with nature and the elements. Since 2016, Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, has been exploring new horizons.
THE OLFACTIVE NOTES
A mineral and woody fragrance, Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette combines the powerful notes of cedar with the radiance of grapefruit and the vibration of silica.
THE OBJECT
The solid-lined bottle rests on an orange H that leaves its imprint on the earth. Light reflects off the metallic shoulders, emphasizing the transparency of the water.
THE HERMÈS DETAIL
Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, who was inspired by a travel set bottle, the Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette bottle holds multiple details including the emblematic Hermès “clou de selle” and the sliding cap.
